Research

Machinery industry is considered the foundation for industrial development. Facing the critical moment of industrial technology upgrade, it is an urgent task to improve the technology of mechanical engineering. In response to the national policy of developing key technologies, the department endeavors to engage in mechanical related technology researches and developments and recruit professional experts as well as improving relevant teaching facilities. In the past three years, the department has completed about 100 research projects. The sponsors of these projects include National Science Council, Ministry of Education, Ministry of the Interior, Environmental Protection Administration, Industrial Technology Research Institute, CPC Corporation, China Steel, China Productivity Center, Metal Industries Research & Development Centre, Precision Machinery Research Development Center, and some private companies.
